How Tidepad works

Tidepad is a token launchpad on Elysium, Kinetiq's L2 for Hyperliquid. Every launch is its own bonding curve against HYPE. Buyers get a Wave Bonus on top of every buy, holders earn Tide Yield from every trade, and a Floor Vault buys back sharp dips. The creator picks these rates once, at launch, and nobody can change them afterwards.

Launching a token

From idea to live token in one transaction

01

Create your token

Pick a name and a ticker (up to 10 characters). Every token has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, with no mint function and no owner. It trades against HYPE, Elysium's native coin.

02

Lock the rules

Choose a Wave Bonus (1–8%), Tide Yield (0–3%), Floor Vault (0–2%), an optional creator fee (0–3%) and whether Calm Water guards the first 15 seconds. The rules are written into the token contract when it's deployed and can never change.

03

Make a first buy (optional)

The creator can buy in the launch transaction itself, before anyone else can trade and without the Calm Water tax.

04

Trade on the curve

The token contract is its own market: buys and sells go straight to its bonding curve. Every quote shows the Wave Bonus and fees before you sign.

05

Graduate to Uniswap v4

When the curve sells out, curve trading stops and anyone can call migrate(). The raised HYPE, whatever is left in the Floor Vault and 15% of supply open a Uniswap v4 pool at the curve's final price. That liquidity is locked forever.

The rules

What every launch locks in

Wave Bonus 1–8%

Every buy gets extra tokens on top, paid from a Bonus Reserve that is locked at launch and has no withdraw function. The rate is the same for every wallet. When the reserve runs out, buys are plain curve buys.

Tide Yield 0–3%

A slice of every curve trade is shared with holders, pro rata. The longer you hold, the more of your share you get:

1×0–2 days · 50%
1.25×3–6 days · 62.5%
1.5×7–29 days · 75%
2×30+ days · 100%

The unpaid part goes back into the pool for everyone. Anyone can push yield to holders, and you can claim yours yourself at any time.

Floor Vault 0–2%

A slice of every trade fills a vault. When the price falls 20% below its high of the last hour, anyone can trigger it: it spends 25% of the vault buying from the curve and burns those tokens, with a 10-minute cooldown. It softens dumps; it is not a price guarantee.

Calm Water optional

An anti-sniper tax on buys: 60% at the first second, falling to 0 over 15 seconds. Everything it collects goes to holders as Tide Yield.

Creator fee 0–3%

Paid to the creator on every trade, either sent automatically or collected for the creator to claim. If the creator's wallet can't receive it, it's kept for a claim, so trades never block.

Excluded wallets up to 10

The creator can exclude their own wallet and up to 10 others (a team or treasury wallet, say) from Tide Yield, so the yield goes to real holders.

Launch math

The numbers behind a launch

  • Supply: 1,000,000,000, fixed. 15% is held for the Uniswap v4 pool at graduation, the Bonus Reserve is locked (1.5× the bonus rate, at least 5%), and the rest is sold on the curve.
  • Curve depth: 1 HYPE of virtual liquidity. Each curve raises 4× its depth (4 HYPE) before it graduates.
  • Per trade: 0.3% protocol fee + the launch's Tide Yield + Floor Vault + creator fee. Calm Water adds to that in the first 15 seconds only.
  • Graduation pool: TOKEN/HYPE on Uniswap v4, 1% swap fee, full range, opened at the curve's final price. Unused bonus tokens are burned.
  • After graduation: the pool's swap fees are split 50% to the creator and 50% to the protocol. Tide Yield only comes from curve trades, so it stops at graduation.
Where fees go

None of it goes to a team wallet

The 0.3% protocol fee from every launch, and the protocol's half of graduated pools' swap fees, go to the TideBurner contract. It splits everything that arrives:

🔥 $TIDE burn auction50%
💧 $TIDE stakers' yield30%
🛟 Protocol insurance vault20%

The burn half is sold for $TIDE in a falling-price auction: anyone can take the whole burn pot by burning the amount of $TIDE asked, which starts at twice the last burn and falls over a day. No DEX, oracle or swap route is involved, and nobody can withdraw the burn pot.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Where does the Wave Bonus come from?

At launch, a slice of supply is locked in a Bonus Reserve with no withdraw function. Every buy draws the bonus from it until it's empty. After that, buys are standard curve buys. Bonus tokens left at graduation are burned.

Do I need to stake or claim Tide Yield?

No staking. Yield accrues automatically to every eligible wallet based on balance × hold-time multiplier. Anyone can push it to holders' wallets, and you can claim yours yourself at any time with one transaction.

What resets my hold-time multiplier?

Selling or transferring more than 25% of your balance resets you to 1×. Buying more doesn't reset it; new tokens simply average in.

Is the Floor Vault a price guarantee?

No. When the price drops more than 20% below its high of the last hour, anyone can trigger the vault to buy back and burn tokens with 25% of what it holds. It softens dumps but cannot stop the price from going down.

Can a launcher change rates after launch?

Never. All parameters are immutable once the contract is deployed. There is no owner function to change them.

What is "graduation"?

When a bonding curve sells out, curve trading stops and its liquidity moves to a Uniswap v4 pool where it's locked forever. Wave Bonus, Tide Yield and the Floor Vault belong to the curve: they end at graduation, and what's left in the Floor Vault goes into the pool.

Can anyone pull the liquidity?

No. The Tidepad migrator owns the pool position and has no function to remove liquidity. It is also the pool's hook and refuses to open the pool early, so nobody can set it up at a manipulated price before graduation.

Where do I get HYPE on Elysium?

On testnet, use the Elysium faucet, or bridge test HYPE from HyperEVM testnet at elysium.kinetiq.xyz. Testnet HYPE has no value.

Which wallets work?

Any browser wallet such as MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet or OKX. Tidepad adds the Elysium network to your wallet and switches to it when you connect.

Tidepad is permissionless: anyone can launch a token without review, and most tokens lose most of their value. The contracts are unaudited, and bugs could cause partial or total loss of funds. Elysium is a new network and Tidepad currently runs on its testnet, where tokens have no value. Nothing here is financial advice, and you are responsible for following the laws where you live.
